REPLY TO/REBLOG THIS POST with your favorite Grizzly Bear related memory
(NOTE: A REBLOG ALONE WILL NOT GET YOU ENTERED INTO THE CONTEST)

The Cheerleader Effect
I remember when I first heard this song, I knew I was going to be quite obsessed with Grizzly Bear. The moment it started playing I was hooked… and I still am today :). I knew right away I had to own their album, and not just an iTunes version- the actual hard copy CD. I remember the first time I bought Veckatimest, it felt like a pot of gold in my hands! To be honest, I didn’t listen to all the songs at once. I stuck to the popular ones like Two Weeks and Cheerleader. However, as time went by I found myself singing to other songs like About Face and Dory and I kept going back to them and that’s when I truly appreciated their entire album. I don’t know if this counts as a memory… but I have yet to catch their show and see them live (that goes on the bucket list)!
